The Department has successfully implemented the Drowning Detection System which relies on advanced video analytics technology and is currently being used by lifeguards to quickly detect drownings at public swimming pools. Jeff Dailey is known for leveraging cutting-edge technology to create significant competitive advantage for Farmers Insurance. The Innovation Lab at Farmers has provided the company underwriters with drone technology to investigate fraudulent property insurance claims. Under his leadership, virtual Farmers University environment has been built to enable agents across the country to complete their training using AR/VR technology.

Travis VanderZanden’s fascination with transportation began as a child in Appletion, WI where his mom drove a public bus. Since then, he has been at the forefront of transportation, serving as COO of Lyft and as a senior executive in charge of international growth for Uber. In these roles, he realized that no one was addressing the last-mile problem – trips that are too far to walk and too short to drive – or providing affordable and accessible transportation to all.
